Free access to Kartarpur Sahib will be the first positive step for Indo-Pak Peace Talks

Sonny Dhaliwal (Deputy Mayor, Lathrop), Didar Singh Bains, Satnam Singh Chahal, Dalwinder S. Dhoot addressed the gathering and appealed that NRI passport problem should be resolved as soon as possible isverigeapotek.com. Jaspal Singh Saini appealed to influence the Government of India and Pakistan to provide free access to Kartarpur Sahib Langha. TeriSikhi team presented a documentary film on Kartarpur Sahib Langha to the audience.

Nayar told that he will take this matter at very high level with Govt. of India and Pakistan.  When both the countries have already started peace talks,  giving free access to Kartarpur Sahib Langha will be the first positive step for these peace talks. It will send message of harmony throughout the world and raise the prestige of India and Pakistan in the eyes of the world.  It is the right time and now is the time to act. Make the great people of Punjab happy. He said my mother was Punjabi and she taught me Punjabi.  I feel proud to be Punjabi.  When every other nation on the globe can visit their prophet�s historic place, why can�t Punjabis?  Punjabis from east or west Punjab pay same respect to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Jee regardless if they are Sikh, Hindu or Muslim.

Kartarpur Sahib is that great historical place of pilgrimage where Shri Guru Nanak Dev Jee spent the last 18 years of his life.  

As you know that the Govt. of Pakistan has offered free access.  India should accept this offer and do the same.   This is the right time and right moment to influence both the Governments.  It is not my cause, your cause or cause of Sikhs.  It is cause of Humanity. 

Gurbhajan Singh Gill, president of Punjabi Academy Ludhiana said that he will support TeriSikhi efforts.  Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, Gadar Memorial Foundation America promised that organization will support this cause from their heart.  

At the end, they appealed to the Govt. of India and Pakistan to permit the free passage from Indian side to Guru Nanak Dev Jee�s sacred shrine of Kartarpur Sahib which is situated only at 2 miles to the west of Indo-Pak Border near Dera Baba Nanak.
